Liege, a city along the Meuse River in French-speaking Wallonia region, has long been a commercial and cultural hub. Liege is home to some incredible religious buildings – St Paul’s Cathedral, the Collegiate Church of St Bartholomew, the Palace of the Prince-Bishops overlooking Place Saint-Lambert, Guillemins train station, the River Meuse, the Buren Stairs and the green hills of the Citadel.
