Gouda


Gouda is a city and municipality in the west of the Netherlands, between Rotterdam and Utrecht, in the province of South Holland. Gouda has a population of 75,000 and is famous for its Gouda cheese, stroopwafels, many channels and its 15th-century city hall.

Gouda's Waag (also known as Cheese Weighing House) on Markt Square. De Goudse Waag is a historic building dating 1668.
Today it houses a museum of cheese and crafts.
