Saint Stephen’s Cathedral is the symbol of Vienna, at 136 meters in height, it is the tallest church in Austria.

Rupert's Church (Ruprechtskirche).
Roman Catholic Rupert's Church (740) is oldest still existing Church of Vienna. Rupert's Church is dedicated to Saint Rupert of Salzburg, patron saint of the salt merchants of Vienna. The building has been expanded and renovated multiple times in its history.

St. Charles Church (Karlskirche) .
St. Charles Church with its imposing dome and intricate columns - one of the city's greatest buildings.
Charles VI, Holy Roman Emperor, built Karlskirche in the 18th century, and it was consecrated in 1737. The style of architecture is Baroque and Rococo.

This church has a history dating back to the 12th century; however, the current Baroque building was completed in 1733.

Wiener Minoritenkirche (Italian National Church of Mary of the Snows) has a history dating back to the 11th century.
However, the current building dates from 1350. Wiener Minoritenkirche has many nice things to see inside, including the famous mosaic of the Last Supper.

Capuchin Church (Kapuzinerkirche).
Roman Catholic Capuchin Church (Kapuzinerkirche) is a Baroque monastery church completed in 1632 for the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin.
It is most famous for housing the Imperial Crypt (Kaisergruft).

Church of Saint Mary of the Victory (Kirche Maria vom Siege).
Church of Saint Mary of the Victory was built between 1868 and 1875 in the Historicist Neo-Early Gothic style. Church features an octagonal layout with eight central pillars surrounded by a ring of chapels, reaching a height of 68 meters with its dome.

Franciscans church (Franziskanerkirche).
Roman Catholic Franciscans church also known as the Church of St. Jerome, dedicated to Saint Hieronymus (St Jerome),
was built 1611 in Renaissance style with a baroque interior.

Originally, the first Schottenkirche was started in 1155 and subsequently consecrated in 1200.
The building has been replaced many times throughout history, and the current building is baroque in design.
